Privacy policy
Updated November 4, 2026. This policy explains how Marshalims Staffing & Home Services uses information submitted through our main website and our Work & Workers marketplace for cooks, housekeepers and employers in Accra. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@marshalims.com.
Your choices and profile visibility
Approved, available marketplace profiles can be viewed by signed-in members, including employers. Pending or unavailable profiles are limited to the profile owner and Marshalims administrators. Interview requests and messages are visible to their participants and administrators for support and moderation. Review notes and reports are private to the relevant member and administrators. Listing approval is a content review; it does not mean that identity, references or background checks have been completed. Home addresses, private contact details and identity documents do not belong in public profiles.
Information we collect
Our website forms collect the contact details, work history and service information you submit, including an optional CV or work-history file where offered. The marketplace stores your account identifier, role, display name, profession, skills, experience, general area, availability, work and pay preferences, vacancies, interview requests, messages and reports. Google Firebase handles marketplace sign-in credentials. If screening is separately agreed, we explain the purpose and obtain appropriate consent before requesting identity, reference or clearance information through a controlled follow-up process. Do not put identity documents or banking details in profiles or messages.
How we use your information
We use information to operate accounts, review applications and listings, help arrange interviews, prepare quotations, coordinate agreed services, respond to concerns and meet legitimate legal obligations. We do not sell applicant data or automatically decide who should be hired. Screening and reference checks require informed consent. Employers remain responsible for their hiring decisions and agreed working conditions. Marketplace registration, profile approval and interviews do not guarantee employment or income.
Sharing, storage and your choices
Our main website uses Webador, and the marketplace uses Google Firebase for sign-in, hosting and its database. Information may be processed outside Ghana. We share information only as described here, for an agreed service or consented check, with necessary service providers, or when lawfully required. Keep records only while needed for these purposes, a legitimate dispute or a legal obligation. You can edit your profile or mark yourself unavailable. Request access, correction or deletion at info@marshalims.com or through the signed-in marketplace privacy form. Marshalims reviews these requests and explains any legitimate reason to retain information. You may also contact Ghana’s Data Protection Commission about a privacy concern.
